Please join me in welcoming my father who is one of the hardest working people I know!
From the time we were kids he instilled in me a hard work ethic, but he also showed me how to care.
A work ethic that included me asking for work when I was at a young age, wanting to do yard work, or field work so that I could have my own money.
I would like to believe the work ethic he instilled in me is still in me today.
The life lessons he taught me remain true even all of these years later.

Today for the "My Service Matters" week on the Candidly Speaking Podcast I speak with my long time friend Cheryl Hodges!
Cheryl and I go back, WAY Back, and no matter how often I talk to her we always find something new to laugh about!
Cheryl has a very interesting perspective on her time in service.
We focus on Cheryl's time as a (91B) Combat Medic currently known as (68B). We talk about other things, such as women in leadership, and the decision that women must make in the military that men don't often have to make. If you ever wondered about medical bill coding Cheryl has all the answers for you. It is actually quite fascinating once you learn about how detailed it is!

Coach Grace spent 20 years in the United States Airforce.
Towards the end of his career he was introduced to AAU basketball where he began coaching.
In 2006 Coach Grace won a state championship with South Mountain Highschool.
Eventually Coach Grace was recommended by Lute Olson to University of California Sacramento as an asst. coach.
From there coach Grace was an assistant coach at Oregon State, UCLA, and Vanderbilt. Please join me in welcoming Coach David Grace
